Mt. Sinai came into being through the Power of God. He touched the heart of Rev. Terry McCaskill Sr., to start a ministry that would reach the outcast and the wounded soldier. The church was founded on Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captive and to recover the sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

    Sinai's Philosophy is built on the foundation that Christ wants the needs of all mankind to be met; white and black, rich and poor, married, divorced, abused, neglected, and the chemically dependent. Our first Service took place June 28, 1992, at 7:30pm. Through the Power of God, Mt. Sinai has grown collectively and spiritually by winning souls to Jesus Christ. Our members consist of many individuals from many different backgrounds. The one common factor is the love of Christ. At Mt. Sinai, you are greeted with smiling faces, loving souls and caring people. The members are encouraged to share their jpgts and talents in the Lord.

There are many ministries and opportunities to fellowship and cultivate their anointed jpgts given by God. There is no one individual who is greater in the sight of the Lord. Therefore, all members are special at Mt. Sinai to Pastor McCaskill. Through the guidance of the Lord, Pastor McCaskill and those leaders appointed by him to work diligently to maintain their availability and assistance to those who are in need. We are all one in the Lord. Through worship services, Bible studies, outreach ministries and special programs, the members of Mt. Sinai are encouraged to grow in Christ so that they will be a light to others. At

Mt. Sinai, members are also encouraged to "Let go and let God". This means that you are free to worship in the Lord according to His Word without any traditional boundaries. We welcome all to come and fellowship with us as we serve the Lord our God. (Psalms 100) Mt. Sinai has been blessed to share the Gospel of Christ in SEVEN locations throughout the upstate of South Carolina and Northern Georgia. Mt. Sinai has grown in number to now serve the communities of Pendleton SC, Greenville SC, Spartanburg SC, Greenwood SC, Hartwell GA, and the lands of Ibadan, Nigeria and Accar, Ghana. With the specific locations, Mt. Sinai is making a significant impact for the Kingdom of God.
