Bishop Terry McCaskill Sr. is the a third generation preacher and pastor. He is the proud son of Dr. Benjamin McCaskill and the late Nannie Louise Carson. Bishop McCaskill is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. God has blessed him to be married to the lovely Lady Shelia Lavern; they have been married over 20 years. They are the proud parents of three boys: Nelvin, Terrell, Terry Jr., and two girls: Latoya and Terria. God has blessed this generation to be saved and very active in ministry. Also, Bishop and Lady McCaskill are blessed with grandchildren who keeps them young and happy.

Bishop is a man of education. He is a graduate of Bessemer City High School in Bessemer City, NC. Bishop is a gradu-ate of Livingstone College with a B.S.W. Degree in Salisbury, NC where he was selected for "Whose Who", he then continued his education at Shaw University Divinity School in Raleigh, NC for a Master of Divinity, he transferred from Shaw to Morehouse School of Religion (ITC) in Atlanta Georgia where he received his Master of Divinity Degree, then continued his education at Erskine Seminary for Doctor of Ministry Degree. He is currently enrolled at the Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta Georgia working on his Doctoral Degree. Bishop is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Also, Bishop serves as the Dean of the Mt. Sinai World Outreach Bible College in Greenville, SC who pre-pares members and ministers for ministry. God has blessed Bishop to write two books that are in their third print: " Love is not Enough" a book that reminds married and single couples that we have to have more than love to survive, we must be in the will of God: " Called before the Fall" a book to help people walk in their call in spite of their imperfection.

Bishop is passionate about ministry. He has been preaching over 30 years and Pastoring over 20 years. Bishop ac-cepted his called in the ministry at Bethlehem Christian Fellowship Church in Gastonia, NC where the late Bishop David Adams was the Pastor. He was ordained by the late Dr. W.C. Hay of Galilee Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC. Bishop was consecrated by a Counsel of Bishops in a ecumenical setting: Bishop Randy Borders of Shelby, NC, Bishop Andy Lewter of Amityville, New York, Bishop Kevin Long of Charlotte, NC, Bishop Haywood Parker of Rockingham, NC, Bishop Leroy Bailey of Bloomfield, Connecticut who serves as Bishops Spiritual father.

Bishop McCaskill has served in many areas in ministry. He has served as pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Salis-bury, NC, Ebenezer Baptist Church in Seneca, SC, Queen Street Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, State Chaplain at Givens Prison in Simpsonville, SC, and Chaplain at Patrick B. Harris Mental Hospital in Anderson, SC. Bishop McCaskill is the Founder and Senior pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church where he started on June 28, 1992 with 28 mem-bers and the grace of God has allowed it grow to be one of the fasted growing churches in South Carolina through TV outreach on WGGS and Direct TV that reaches millions. He has been on Word Network and the Inspirational Channel. Bishop was led to establish other ministries to "Reach the Outcast for Christ". Mt. Sinai Baptist is now known as Mt. Sinai World Outreach Ministry ~ One church in five locations: Mt. Sinai I in Pendleton SC, Mt. Sinai II in Greenville SC and, Mt. Sinai III in Spartanburg SC. Bishop have traveled to Africa to established Mt. Sinai IV in Ibadan Nigeria,and Mt. Sinai V in Accra Gahanna where Bishop have ordained a son in the ministry to oversee.

Bishop is a true Spiritual father who really wants to help ministers and pastors reach their full potential. He has birth over 75 ministers within his years of Pastoring. He has birth nine pastors out of Mt. Sinai to serve as pastors in other congregations. Bishop is covering over 50 pastors across the country. He believes in the African proverb " To be, one must help others become ".

The most important thing one needs to remember about Bishop is: "He believes it is Gods will that we help liberate all people from oppression, so that people can reach their full potential in life. James Cone, a black theologian says "We should not only be for the people, we need to be with the people".
