The Vision
Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Future Home, Lafrance, SC. This is the future home of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. God has blessed our church family with a vision and a purpose. He has allowed us to grow into a large number, but yet we remain one in the Lord.
Our new church home will service our members as well as the community with
a place to come and freely worship Jesus Christ. The new church home will likewise provide provision for various outreach ministries to grow and win many more souls to the Lord. We thank God for this opportunity to continue to be a vessel for the Lord Jesus Christ. Mt. Sinai Church was founded by Bishop Terry McCaskill,Sr. on June 28, 1992 in Pendleton South Carolina.
The church was organized to reach gangbangers, drug dealers, the chemically dependent, Aids victims, and school dropouts through the means of Education, Salvation, Motivation. Today the Mt. Sinai Church reaches communities in several different locations.
The church has a widespread affiliation with the upstate sections of South Carolina and the coastal areas of Georgia.
Bishop Terry McCaskill,Sr. has a heart to reach out to the individuals and families of our surrounding communities and nation. Our mission is built on our philosophy that the needs of all mankind should be met regardless of whether or not they are rich or poor, black or white, saved or lost, sick or in health, abused or neglected, and married, divorced or single. Throughout the past eight years, the Mt. Sinai Church has established over 60 Outreach ministries and we will continue to reach out to save our communities.
Mt. Sinai Church is a ministry that has grown to over
3,000 individuals and is continually growing daily.
Because of this increase, we recently have outgrown our resource center and are in the process of building a new center that will support our needs and goals.
The new resource center will cost 6.5 million dollars. This will include seating for approximately 2500 individuals.
Several Outreach Ministries will be established including:
- Outpatient Drug Rehabilitation Center
- Nursery
- Preschool Center
- Children Day Care
- Adult Day Care
- Family Counseling Center
